crushes was on Laurence Olivier who starred in the Alfred Hitchcock movie, Rebecca. I first saw the movie when I was seven years old. It had such an affect on me that I could not stop thinking about it and had trouble falling asleep that night. The next morning I drew this picture of the cast of characters. In those days we didn't have hulu, dvds or even videos, if I had had a way to watch the movie again I might not have drawn pictures of it, trying to recapture the feeling the movie gave me.

A fascinating endeavor. I like this sort of thing a whole lot, when art is used to reach out and grasp at something in the raw procession of our lives.
